Eligibility Requirements
This program targets environmental-impact SMEs developing low-carbon solutions ready for commercialization.
Selection Criteria:
- European SME (EU-based headquarters, < 500 employees)
- Minimum TRL 6–7
- Majority EU ownership
- Cleantech / low-carbon / circular economy solution
- Demonstrable environmental impact
- Solution ready to be tested or deployed
- Clear intention to enter the Canadian market

In the context of this programme:
Vivinnov acts as the European ambassador for LCBA Canada, in partnership with a mandated Canadian actor to implement the project. Our role: identify, support and prepare European SMEs willing to position themselves on the Canadian market.
LCBA Canada (Low Carbon Business Action Canada) is a 100 % European-Union-funded programme aiming to connect European cleantech solutions with real market opportunities in Canada.
It is based on an “opportunity-driven” approach, centered on identified market needs
Applications are open on a rolling basis until summer 2027. Successful candidates will benefit from support for the remaining duration of the programme.
